We begin at Newcastle Central Station inside one of the most sumptuous pubs anywhere in Britain. Famous for its breathtaking interior and a remarkable, unexpected history. From there, we continue to a collection of authentic local pubs, each with its own distinctive character and story. You’ll enjoy a drink in the oldest pub in Newcastle, once frequented by an infamous monarch. Visit another whose landlord was once officially the largest and heaviest man in the world. Every pub we visit is genuinely local, atmospheric, and completely different from the last.

Between stops, you’ll take in many of Newcastle’s most iconic sights and streets. Including the Castle and Cathedral, Grey’s Monument, the Theatre Royal, the elegant Central Arcade, and much more. All woven seamlessly into the storytelling of the tour.
