Blenheim Palace Private Tour

One of the grandest private houses in the world. Blenheim Palace Private Tour.

Blenheim Palace is perhaps the most magnificent home in Southern England hence its designation as a Palace rather than simply a house or hall.  Birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill and sumptuously decorated it is a sight to behold.  The vast estate is equally breathtaking with numerous gardens and lawns as well as the famous landscaped surroundings by renowned landscapist Capability Brown; this is a visit not to be missed.  The view over lake and the bridge has been voted the most beautiful garden view in Britain. There are regular exhibitions here and sometimes even live jousting and sword fighting! Just us on our Blenheim Palace Private Tour.

Optional excursion to a nearby church and the burial of Britains most famous Prime Minster and wartime leader Sir Winston Churchill and then on to the magical and mysterious ruins of Minster Lovell Hall in rural Oxfordshire. Once visited by King Richard III.  This ruined hall is a great example of the condition of many of Great Britains buildings either ruined by war or left to fall to ruin following family hardship but not many have the backdrop of the River Windrush.

Magical, mysterious ruins at Minster Lovell Hall in Oxfordshire.

Of course if you like Winston Churchill them you simply must try the original and still the best Sir Winston Churchill Walk and War Rooms Tour or perhaps visit his country home at Chartwell House Tour.
