This special pub tour explores some of the rich history of this great city and famed Quayside. Join us in the footsteps and some of the best and most historic pubs anywhere. We’ll explore the Quayside and seeing some of the most iconic locations with our Newcastle Quayside Pub Tour.
As with the legendary gangster film Get Carter, we start off outside Newcastle Central Station. We will explore parts of the city centre, Quayside, medieval quarter around the castle as we visit 4 fantastic atmospheric pubs in Newcastle. If you’ve never seen Get Carter then you’d also recognise them if you’ve ever watched any Newcastle based drama shows such as Vera and generally will see a few places you’d never happen upon yourself.
If the four pubs in Newcastle aren’t enough then we will cross the High Level Bridge which is not just famous in its own right but offers the chance of some amazing photos of the river and city before finishing just across the river in Gateshead. No-one is going anywhere near any multi-storey carparks!
