Ye Olde England Tours specialise in personalised Private London Tours. But we also do day tours in Southern England, York & Yorkshire, The Lake District and Edinburgh, Scotland.  We were the very first to do these sorts of tours (easy to check, our website is from 2012). We created dozens of original tours (some of which are lamely copied). We’ve provided tours for everyone from Royalty and Presidents, the military, Hollywood. More importantly the countless thousands of everyday amazing people from across the globe who return year after year.

Ye Olde England Tours have been featured on the BBC, international TV, newspapers and radio. We’ve also been ‘won’ as numerous prizes on American TV. We are recommended by several historic and heritage groups too. Stephen who created all of this has had several number 1 books with Secret Gardens of the City of London not only being listed as the most authentic London experience on Viator but featuring as a travel feature in the Independent newspaper and mentioned on London radio.

We don’t just love our city, country and history and even our lovely guests who travel with us but we love our planet too. We are independently certified by Green Tourism so having a tour with Ye Olde England Tours needn’t cost the Earth!

What really like to do though is exactly what we’ve done since we started. Meet you at your hotel and immerse you in the real London that tourists never get to see. In fact often you won’t see another tourist, we get plenty of Londoners who say they’ve never been to a single spot on the tours they’ve booked with us. We often get told that we haven’t just given the best tour ever, but the best day of someones life.

No big groups or crowds for us. It’s your holiday and its our lives so all our tours are easy going, friendly and it’s just you and your guide. No shouting or not hearing us, no orders to keep up because we’re running late. We say that our guests are like part of the family and have plenty of become life-long friends.

All our tours are bespoke and can be viewed in detail on each tour page but for the Trip Advisor search engines the following information is required :

Departure Time: 8.30am
City Location: London    (and surrounding places such as Windsor, Stratford Upon Avon, Warwick, Cambridge, Ely, Oxford, Portsmouth etc)

Duration: Between 3 and 10 hours as per tour page info.
Duration of Tour: 6 hours

All half day tours are from approximately 9.30am – 1pm and full day tours 7/8am-5pm.
